As a traditional bluegrass fiddler and mandolinist, I've spent a long time looking southward for inspiration, building a repertoire of southern fiddle tunes and learning from the (mostly southern) greats of the genre.

For this project, I decided to be a musical locavore for a change, to look closer to home for my inspiration, playing tunes from the Upper Midwest and creating a sound that brings to mind the place I call home.
